Manufacturing and Fabrication

We specialise in custom building equipment to meet client requirements. These prototypes may be designed by us or we also build independent designs.

Experience, sound engineering principles and knowledge allow us to produce quality machinery for a range of industries. We provide project management services throughout the assignment, employing and managing subcontractors on the client’s behalf.  Follow up maintenance services and schedules for optimization of performance is an important part of the project.

While Advanced Maintenance is experienced across a large range of industries, seed dressing has been a strong focus over the last 5 years. We have worked with seed equipment suppliers such as Cimbria Australia and Graintech along with supplying our services to several NZGSTA members for the design, manufacture and installation of large seed dressing plants for clients such as Seedlands and PGGW Seeds.

Servicing & Maintenance

We provide maintenance services to a range of businesses throughout the district. Our services can be contracted on a short or long term basis and we are also able to offer leasing options for certain types of equipment such as compressors.

Design and execution of preventative maintenance programs by us help ensure the cost effective optimization of your equipment and production with flexibility and without the expense of a full-time dedicated on-site engineer.

Diagnostics of plant and machinery as well as certification of engineering projects are also part of our services.  

We are now Certified to provide EECA Energy Efficiency testing on Compressor systems.  An inefficient system costs money in wasted energy.  A health check on energy efficiency could save your business.

We have extensive experience with plant relocation and installation and Project Management of a range of engineering projects across numerous industries.

Prototypes

Advanced Maintenance has a reputation for innovation, having built its name on the manufacture of prototype equipment. Our wide range of experience over a vast number of industries leads to original and innovative product ideas and designs. Some examples of our past prototype projects: 

Tree Toppers

The first Tree Topper was designed as a large scale machine for trimming trees and hedges. We have been manufacturing Tree Toppers for the last 15 years over which time 17 full sized machines have been produced. The quality of these machines has been proven with the capability on our oldest units being over 30,000 hours. Please contact us for further information on this product.

Kindling Cutter

A petrol powered Hydraulic Kindling Cutting Machine was recently designed and manufactured by Advanced Maintenance. Designed to run as a single person operation, this machine runs totally by petrol hydraulic system eliminating the need to set up near an electricity supply. Additional design features include quick set up/pack up as well the ability to tow the machine using a midsized family car. This makes the product very versatile and able to be set up in any area minimizing the number of times each piece of wood is handled. Please contact us for more details on this product.
